They don't like to fly when their wings can get wet. A drop of rain can cause them to fall down maybe into a puddle of water and drown. just like you do not swim in your pool when the lightning is flashing. Do the bees do much work during this time of the year if it rains so much? What do they do when it rains (besides sit at home reading a book and sipping on hot chocolate)?
